Easdale and its surrounding islands offer some of the best RIB cruising in the UK. Throughout this weekend local Ribsters will share their knowledge and accompany RIBs on tours including a day trip up The Sound of Mull and then choices either to Salen, Loch Sunart, Ardnamurchan Point and islands beyond. Some have expressed an interest to circumnavigate Mull (weather permitting). An itinerary for the day will be suggested. RIBs should be well founded and seaworthy. This ‘Cruise in Company’ event will hopefully attract experienced RIBsters and those who are wishing to expand their cruising horizons in the knowledge that other RIBs are nearby.
SATURDAY NIGHT AT ‘THE PUFFER Bar & Restaurant, Easdale Island ’
Come along and enjoy great Scottish hospitality at The Puffer. Gourmet BBQ featuring the Best of The West Coast Shellfish and local produce freshly cooked by their head chef Des and his team. This year to play safe we have joined forces with Eilean Eisdeal so that the hall is available in case of inclement weather! Eilean Eisdeal also presents live music from ‘STRING DRIVEN’ in the community hall. Entry is free if you are eating at The Puffer BBQ (Live music ticket will be issued with meal) and £10 per head if you are not eating with them (pay on the door). Great banter is guaranteed! Here’s the boring but important part – Booking is ESSENTIAL! They source from small local producers and due to the volume required for this weekend it really makes life easier for all if they know numbers so please book early and they will be very grateful.
